The year is 2026, and the world is ruled from behind the scenes by the power-hungry Nogari Corporation, the developer of a powerful new energy source called Ambrosia. In Scourge: Outbreak, you lead the Echo Squad, an elite group of mercenaries tasked by the Tarn Initiative to deliver the decisive blow to the Nogari Corporation. The other Tarn Initiative units have been tasked with conducting diversion attacks, while Echo Squad has the most important task: first, to find and rescue Dr. Reisbeck, the Tarn double agent in the Nogari Corporation; second, to grab a piece of meteorite stored deep in the Nogari laboratories.
